Rylie stared out at the lake and began to plot her next act of mayhem. She needed to think up a plan that has an easy scapegoat. She thought about the giant squid. That’s perfect! I can get the squid out of the water with a spell to keep a bubble of water 1 foot out in every direction of it and then relese it on the school! I can blame that Dombrovski, say he was trying to train it. That wouldn’t get him fired, but he would have to lead a few detentions into the forbidden forest. That will work.
Rylie then got up to scout the area. She wouldn’t make any move to get the squid out until nightfall though. That would both hide her and make Dombrovski look more guilty because “he tried to hide it”. She decided that she should come out through the door that goes out to the path to the Quidditch pitch and then break off of it to come here and get the squid. She would levitate him(Her?) out and trap it in the water and take it to the field by the pitch and have it walk (Guided of course) to the castle. Then she would cast a temporary sticking charm on it to the castle and go up to her dorm. From there she would open the door and let the squid in.

After his last class had let out, Pavel realized he had some time to kill. Deciding he'd take a walk around the grounds, he headed to his favorite place, the lake. He was actually in search of the squid. Not many people knew that he had been trying for years to tame it, so far, he had been sorta successful.
Everyday, rain or shine, he'd take a bag of macaroons down to the lake and throw them in. And each time a giant tentacle would reach up and snatch it under the surface. How this creature could like such a disgusting cookie, he had no clue. Usually, he was alone while he did this, but today, there was a female-looking student already there.

Rylie left the lake as the night fell over the grounds. She went to the Great Hall for dinner, then to her dorm in wait of midnight. She watched the clock for hours, passing the time by snooping around the other girls things after they all fell asleep. She stole some candy and Brenda's potions homework. Brenda had straight O's, her grades wouldn't fall for one missing assignment.
Rylie went into the common room, out the door, snuck past the prefects, and out to the hall. She headed for the back entrance. Exiting the castle, Rylie cast lumos to light her way. She made her way to the lake. Rylie had learned in Care of Magical Creatures that the squid always slept in the middle of the lake.
"Wingardium Leviousa!" She whispered. The squid splashed around more than desired so she quickly got him out and put the water bubble around him. "Your coming with my, freak." Rylie whispered to the squid. She levitated him out and walked him to the field. From there, she walked him to the castle...
"AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! IT'S THE SQUID!!!!!!!!! BLOODY HELL!!! AAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!! SOMEBODY STOP HIM HE'S GONNA EAT ME!!!!!!!!" That is what Rylie woke to. The other girls screaming. There was a tentacle in the window. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Rylie screeched louder than anyone else. She dove under her bed in fake horror, still screaming.
FLUUUUTH Someone cast Incendio at the tentacle. "RRRAWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUAAARRRRRGGGHHHHH" I didn't know squids could make that noise... The squid lifted it tentacle and broke the wall. It was quite embarrassing for the girls who slept in their undies. Rylie stopped herself from giggling. She crawled out and stared wide-eyed at the window just as the other girls did. This was the best idea I've ever had.

"Wait, WHAT is attacking the Slytherin girl’s dorm?" Sive asked her assistant with a very concerned look on her face. "Um, well Madam, it seems to be..." She started to say. "It seems to be what??? Spit it out Mindy!" Sive cut her off. "The giant squid!" Mindy half yelled.
"PAVEL!" Sive screeched. Mindy had already ran from the room and was sending someone for him. "What was he thinking, Mindy? This is one of the stupidest things he has ever done, and trust me, he's done some stupid things!" Sive yelled to Mindy.

Being screeched for by Sive Carey is not one of life's greatest moments. And when one is screeched for, one gets there as quickly as possible. Pavel was a little scared of what might happen and he was booking it to get to where she was.
Hoping it was nothing serious, he broke into a run and tripped. Flying through the air, he had time to think. I wonder what on Earth that woman needs. Maybe it's nothing important and I can go on my merry way. He landed on his head, got up, and continued to run. Upon arriving outside the Slytherin dorm, Pavel was rather shocked to find the squid.

"Pavel, what the bloody HELL is that?" Sive asked wearing her, 'I can't believe you' look. She was pissed, and it showed. Her eyebrows were forced so close together with rage that they appeared to be a uni-brow, and she slipped her lip into her mouth to bite and release the small amount of rage that it can.
"I cannot believe that you would do something so stupid, so reckless, so idiotic as to give the squid the ability to leave the goddamn lake! Actually, I can. That's just my luck, to hire an idiot." Sive complained, whining more towards the sky than Pavel.

"It's not my fault! Have you considered that the squid just happened to come here on its- wait...never mind. I didn't bring it here!" Pavel wasn't mad at Sive, just a little alarmed and bewildered. And had she just called him an idiot?
Why yes, yes she did.
×òî èäèîò Pavel thought to himself in Russian. He wanted to yell at Sive, but seeing as she was his boss, and he was a responsible, mature adult, he decided to just let her yell at him. But even if it was the last thing he did, he was going to find out who did this.

The squid then grabbed Pavel and dragged him out of the tower. Sive ran to the window she just saw the professor be dragged out of. She watched as the squid made its way back to the lake. Well that took care of that...
"No need to worry about this, girls. The man who did this is dead. No need to mention it to anyone. Very good, now go back to sleep." Sive said as she walked away.
